Giant Butterscotch Cookie
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup butter melted
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup butter scotch
- 1 tbsp pecans chopped
- 2-3 tbsp cookie butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
- In a large bowl, combine the butter, sugars, egg, & vanilla extract together. Mix until thoroughly combined.
- Add the flour, baking powder, nutmeg, & salt
- Toss in the pecans & butterscotch morsels
- Separate 1/2 of the dough. flatten the dough & create a well in the middle with your hands (resembling a crater)
- Spread the cookie butter in the middle & cover it with the remaining dough (pinch the edges)
- Bake for 14-15 minutes, or until dark brown edges form around the cookie
