Damola Adamolekun made history in August 24′ when he was appointed the newest CEO of Red Lobster. Earlier that same year, Red Lobster headed towards bankruptcy with over $1 billion in debt. Adamolekun’s appointment as CEO promised a new turn for the major food chain. Starting first with a menu revamp – and yes, the viral seafood boils.

Fun fact: Red Lobster was my 2nd job ever (Hwy 6 South, Houston). I can still smell the warm cheddar biscuits..

With this menu revamp including seafood boils, new items like crab baked potatoes, and classics like the admirals feast, there’s a lobster renaissance here.
