As a tea enthusiast (and who owns the best assortment of teas), I’m obsessed with teas. I drink a warm cup in the morning, in the afternoon, right before bed – I also keep 1-2 bags in my purse at all times. Although it’s summer and it may be too hot outside for a warm sip, as long as you reach for one of these throughout the day, you’ll be tapping into some major health benefits. If you’re just getting into drinking tea, here’s my list of teas I reach for when needing a boost to my insides!

Teas For Wellness

Green – My most used tea in the batch. Green tea is natural caffeine source, burns fat, speeds up my metabolism, and acts adds a boost of antioxidants to my system. Add a fresh lemon wedge for an added detox.

Ginger – My favorite tea that aids digestion. A cup of ginger tea a day keeps my bloating away. If you struggle with digesting your food and keeping your tummy in check after every meal, try incorporating ginger tea into your routine. Bigelow has my favorite Lemon Ginger (with added probiotics) tea.

Raspberry – Ladies, that time of the month brings PMS & so much more – combat those common symptoms with a warm cup of Raspberry (or Hibiscus) tea. If you’re expecting, it’s commonly used during the 2nd-3rd trimester to prepare for delivery!*

Peppermint – Whenever I feel bloated or need a tummy check, peppermint tea is the way to go. A natural remedy for bloating an any additional PMS symptoms. Plus, it’s a good tea to combat bad breath (though I wouldn’t suggest abandoning your toothbrush for a cup of mint tea).

Chamomile – Commonly known as the tea to drink right before bed, we can confirm this tea relaxes every bit of our system to have the best sleep ever. Chamomile also can be used to combat stress through it’s calming benefits.

Honorable Mentions: Traditional Medicinals Throat Coat tea (great sore throat relief – I also use this to prepare my voice for the stage/presentations/speaking events/etc), Traditional Medicinals Smooth Move (great relief for constipation), Yogi Elderberry Lemon Balm (the perfect tea to keep my immune system in top shape throughout the year!)

*we advise you check with your doctor before consuming any tea related to pregnancy
