Zora is the hottest chocolate bar company on the block! They are female-founded & based on the idea of: if chocolate can mean so much to the people who eat it, shouldn’t it empower those who help produce it, too? Inspired by equality, inclusivity, and meaningful connection, ZORA’s purpose is to make chocolate which speaks to your heart and nourishes your soul! Every bar you buy helps to support their Women’s Economic Empowerment Program and fund one day of schooling for a girl in rural Ghana. Not only can you enjoy a good chocolate bar, but you can also support their mission. We’ve partnered with them to create the tastiest Raspberry Chocolate Chip Cookies using their Rose Flower Bar. It’s described as: Savory meets sweet in this indulgent blend of rich, smooth chocolate and fleur de sel crystal chunks, enhancing the herbal notes in the profile. Making the best chocolate chip cookies
Chocolate Chip cookies are all about the way you make the dough. Be careful not to over cream your butter & sugars. You can also use melted butter if you don’t have a hand mixer. After creaming (or mixing) your butter & sugar together, add in your egg and vanilla. Gently beat in the flour mixture until everything is combined and a thick dough forms. When your dough has formed, it’s best to fold in (using a spatula) the chocolate and dried raspberries. This ensures that you don’t over mix the batter & you have more control of the raspberries spreading & mixing evenly with the chocolate. Pop these in the oven for 9-11 minutes, and out comes the chewiest cookies you’ll ever take a bite of! Add in nuts, sprinkle powdered sugar, or fold in more free-dried fruit for the perfect crunch.
Chocolate: We used Zora’s Rose Flower Chocolate Bar. Described as “Infused with rose oil for a flora fruitiness interwoven with layers of vanilla for when you need those smooth, melt-in-the-mouth moments.”
Freeze Dried Raspberries: Crush these dried raspberries up & toss them into your cookie dough!
