These chocolate chip cookie blondies are so chewy, buttery, chocolatey, and you’ll only need one bowl for this amazing recipe. Plus…it’s made with a top secret ingredient you’ll never be able to guess! Keep reading to find out which!

Chocolate Chip Cookie blondies?
Chocolate chip cookies are the best! There’s no doubt about it. If you could have an inside out brownie, it would probably look like these chocolate chip cookie blondies. Chocolate flavors in little pockets throughout the whole pan. These blondies tastes just like your classic chocolate chip cookies. Much chewier than a cake, and super easy to cut and store away.
All you need is one large bowl for these blondies. We baked them in a square 8×8 pan (lined with parchment paper of course), but you can use a 9×9 pan too! Even though these blondies are so desirable, let these cool in the pan for 10 minutes before cutting into them. Once they settle, we promise you’ll have the best tasting blondie bars that you could’ve ever imagined! (top off with more chocolate chips, or melt the chocolate and drizzle them over the blondies).
Butter: Melted butter is the perfect consistency for these blondies. They make it easier to combine with the rest of the ingredients. For a vegan substitute, use coconut oil!
Sunflower Butter: Our friends over at 88Acres sent us the best Vanilla Cinnamon Sunflower Butter. Of course we decided to use it in this amazing recipe. The sunflower butter contributes to the texture and flavors of these chocolate chip cookie blondies. This sunflower butter is vegan, gluten free, and kosher. You can substitute any sunflower butter, or nut butter for this recipe!
Chocolate Chips: To make these a classic cookie blondie recipe, of course we need chocolate chips. To complete this as a vegan recipe, use vegan chocolate chips (or dark chocolate chips). A slight chocolate remix would be to use white chocolate chips. If you love those, you’ll obsess over our Banana White Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Blondies
- 1½ cup all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup butter melted
- ½ cup sunflower butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup white sugar
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- ½ cup walnuts chopped
- Preheat the oven to 350°F
- In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, sunflower butter, eggs, and vanilla together. Mix until fully combined.
- Mix in the white & brown sugars.
- Add in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, & salt together.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts.
- In a 8×8 square pan, evenly spread out the batter. Bake the blondies for 25-26 minutes.
- Let the blondies cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before removing & cutting.
